Showcasing emerundefinedging talent has been one of the driving forces behind the Get it Loud in Libraries programme of live music gigs in unique venues – normally reserved for quiet reading – and this inspiring streak is set to continue with the next scheduled event.

London-born artist Georgia will be performing an energetic set at St Helens Central Library on Friday, 18 September at 8pm, including her latest single, Move Systems – which premiered on BBC Radio 1 earlier this year.

Georgia Barnes, a multi-instrumentalist, producer and songwriter, has steadily established herself in recent years as an important fixture in London’s most imaginative, artistic circles; playing drums forKwes and Kate Tempest among others before emerging as an irresistible creative force in her own right with last year's Come In EP.

Newly signed to Domino, Georgia is currently putting the final touches to her debut album which she wrote, performed and self-produced in its entirety, expanding on her own unique brand of globally-minded pop, with elements of and inspiration from early ‘00s grime, dub, post-punk and hip-hop.

Tickets are available at www.getitloudinlibraries.com/tickets or at www.seetickets.com. The gig will be suitable for all ages.

Get it Loud in Libraries also offers exclusive creative opportunities for young people to get involved and develop their skills in film, photography, web design, animation and event management on the live shows.
