The Youth Service
St. Helens Council Youth Service plays a key role in the council’s Early Help strategy, as a targeted service. We deliver one to one sessions, group work, open access, outdoor education, Youth Council and detached youth work sessions.
We are passionate about young people and invest our time and efforts into their personal and social development. We are committed to delivering an innovative service to young people through a variety of programmes and interventions in agreement and cooperation with young people.
We aim to build positive relationships with young people based on trust and mutual respect and provide a safe space for young people achieve. We aim to support young people as soon as problems start to emerge, helping them to overcome any specific difficulties and equipping them with the skills and confidence that will enable them to take control of their own lives, to make positive choices and fulfill their potential.
