13 to 24 participation

There is a wide range of programmes and initiatives developed with young people and community organisations, to provide opportunities for participation in sport and physical activities for young people aged 13 to 24 as part of the Youth Sport, Sports Development Project.

Sport and activity programmes run seven days a week providing a variety of participation opportunities at a number of sites across the borough. These activities include five a-side football, dance, zumba, boxing, female football, table tennis, trampolining, breakdancing, cheerleading and basketball. There are opportunities for young people to participate, volunteer and gain qualifications by attending sessions.

Social Media

If you are on Facebook or Twitter you can now follow our Youth Sports projects via social media. Every week we have over 20 youth sessions at various locations providing a variety of activities engaging with 13 - 24 year olds. All the activities are FREE of charge and equipment is provided, all you need to do is turn up and give it a go!!
