About the Youth Service (Young People)
Why St Helens Youth Service?
St Helens Youth Service offers a three day per week. It is packed full of different things to do, from arts and sports to health and much more. Once you have taken part in one of the Youth Service's events, then ask what else you could take part in; we are always ready to help.
If you want to have fun, meet new people and successfully learn new skills, then St Helens Youth Service has a lot to offer.
At our Centres you can access a wide-ranging youth offer, from music sessions, video productions, computer games, table tennis, sports activities, and time to chill out and be with friends. The staff are supportive, creative and enthusiastic, and keen to offer help and advice when needed.
There are small groups that meet with specific interests like mountain biking, pamper sessions, outdoor pursuits and much more. These groups can offer intensive, challenging experiences that are focused on achieving success whilst having fun.
We look forward to welcoming you to St Helens Youth Service and to our regular open sessions, helping you to achieve more than you thought possible and become part of a warm and friendly community of young people.

All youth workers are there to offer you sound advice and guidance on issues that you may face. If we cannot give you the advice you need, then we will know someone who will. Our aim is to offer as much assistance as possible, so you can make the most of opportunities available to you in St Helens.
If music is one of your things, then we can arrange a visit to our studios at Windlehurst Youth Centre. We run rolling 12-week programmes at all our Centres, that encourage your skills' development and aim to link, wherever possible, to the creative industries.
There is a wide range of activities at all our Centres, including Midnight Soccer League, outdoor pursuits, bike projects, swimming and gym sessions at our Youth Only Zones.
Health & Wellbeing Projects
We recognise that sometimes young people just want somewhere they can discuss and share their feelings and concerns about relationships, friendships, confidence, body image and general health. We have confidential small group sessions that run most nights, where people can chat, share their feelings and learn how to feel more positive and confident about themselves and the world in which they live.
We offer pampering girls' nights, sexual health clinics and small discussion groups.
